San Fernando Valley Law Firm Changes Name and Adds New Partner
The Law Offices of David Lawrence Oberg, APC has changed the firm name to the Oberg Law Group, A.P.C., and has taken on Madison Oberg as a partner attorney.
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) September 02, 2020 - The Law Offices of David Lawrence Oberg, APC has officially changed its name to the “Oberg Law Group, A.P.C.” In addition to the name change, Madison Oberg has joined the firm as a partner.
“We are very fortunate that our workload has increased significantly, so it was time to expand to satisfy our clients’ demands,” said managing partner David Oberg. David explained that, “the name change reflects not only our growing firm, but still provides continuity for our strong client base. Many of my clients have worked with me since the firm’s inception in 1996. In some cases, I am now working with the client’s next generation, where the business has transitioned from the founding parents to their children. Thus, it only seemed natural for my daughter, Madison, to join the team. She is a bright business attorney, and her addition to the firm will add a lot of unique expertise and a ‘fresh’ perspective to our business advisory practice.”
“Most recently I was at a firm that served as corporate counsel for some unique small businesses and I have worked extensively on business transactions here in Southern California,” said Madison Oberg. “My father and I had joked about my joining ‘Oberg Law’ ever since I first decided to attend law school. Needless to say, when the opportunity came to finally join the firm as a partner, I was thrilled with the idea.”
Madison is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she majored in English. She notes that after four winters in Wisconsin, she was ready to return to the Southern California sunshine . Madison attended Pepperdine University Caruso Law School, where she graduated with honors. Following law school Madison was admitted to the State Bar of California and has worked in both in-house and in a boutique business transaction firm setting.
