  • (1888PressRelease) December 28, 2013 - Click Labs recently released it's latest edutainment game Sammy's StarShot for iOS in partnership with educational gaming website Fuel the Brain.

    The game already existed online at Fuel the Brain's website, but Click Labs developed the mobile version with the possibility of porting all of Fuel the Brain's games to apps.

    Sammy's StarShot: About the Game
    The game helps students with their basic reading and writing skills. The game is designed to help students learn the requirements of common core curriculum standards while building their foundational reading skills.

    They can obtain one-to-one sound-letter correspondence knowledge or, at least, the frequent sounds for consonants by playing the game. For vowels, they can learn to associate short and long sounds with common spellings (graphemes). The game also helps improve recognition of lower case and upper case letters.

    StarShot has fun sound effects and graphics and can prove useful for classroom instruction as pupils can learn while playing the game and enjoying themselves.

    It doesn't contain social network integration, in-app purchases or third-party ads. The game doesn't collect private information about its young users.
