-Meet and listen to guest speaker Leo Costa, Jr. Costa is a world famous fitness expert/former bodybuilder who had three strokes in three weeks that left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. He will discuss and have available his new book Three Strokes in Three Weeks Saved My Life.
-Costa was a former athlete who was making bodybuilding a career and life-long hobby while training thousands of clients at his personal training studio. After a 14 year layoff from the sport of bodybuilding, Costa decided to return at the age of 53 to compete at the national level to turn pro, which would have fulfilled his childhood dream of one day becoming a pro athlete. Two months before the biggest competition of his bodybuilding career, Leo had three strokes in three weeks that left him paralyzed. At this point of his life, he knew he had 2 choices; let this tragedy destroy him or define him. He rehabilitated himself using his fitness knowledge of 30 plus years, his bodybuilding knowledge of connecting his mind to his body and making it respond the way he wanted, nontraditional rehab, light therapy, music therapy, IV therapy and much much more. Three years later he is ready to share his story with the world in hopes that he can help save lives and give people the tools to overcome adversity and success. Leo has developed a preventative program to help eliminate the risk factors of strokes, as well as a recovery program to help stroke victims rehabilitate themselves and get the results he has received over a three year period. He continues to work towards maximizing and receiving results on a daily basis now being at an estimated recovery percentage of 95%. The last part of his rehabilitation is to get full recover in his fine motor movement skills. Details on his book can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYNhII0Sm_4.

Background on Guest Speaker Leo Costa, Jr.:
Leo Costa, Jr. is a world famous fitness expert/former bodybuilder who had three strokes in three weeks that left him paralyzed on the right side of his body. He used all his fitness knowledge from his career to rehabilitate himself and three years later he is ready to share his success story to the world with a mission to help people. He has written a new highly anticipated book called Three Strokes in Three Weeks Saved My Life which is being released to the public in 3 months and is also having a screenplay written as an adaptation of the book for a theatrical release. Leo wants to educate people through first-hand experience that anyone, even someone very healthy and fit, can be susceptible to having a stroke. He wants to encourage people to aspire for the most miraculous recoveries, never giving up or settling for anything less than what they deserve, no matter what odds are against them. He wants to give people the tools and hope they need to be successful when it comes to recovering from a stroke or helping care for someone who has had a stroke. After having these strokes Leo did a lot of research, combining that with his fitness knowledge, and came up with a stroke prevention and recover program. Leo's story can hit the stroke industry in many different ways. He can help prevent strokes, motivate people to open their eyes and take charge of their health, encourage people who have had strokes to achieve the highest of their expectations no matter the odds, and give people the motivation to be successful in everything they do. This is a powerful story that needs to be shared. He is willing to travel to speak to anyone who is interested in hearing his story.
