Salon 42 Owners Star in HGTV House Hunters on Vacation Episode
A hard-working family that owns three hair salons in Charlotte, NC was chosen to be featured on an episode of HGTV's House Hunters on Vacation that will air Sunday, August 19th, 2012.
- Charlotte-Gastonia-Rock Hill, NC-SC (1888PressRelease) August 18, 2012 - Salon 42 owners, Jason and Cara Viers, and their children were chosen out of thousands of submissions to participate in an episode of Home and Garden Television's (HGTV's) new show - House Hunters on Vacation. They were awarded with a trip to Las Vegas, Nevada to tour three luxury properties. According to the HGTV website, "Las Vegas is world renowned for gaming and its nightlife, but it's also packed with family-friendly attractions like thrill rides, fantastic theatre and extravagantly themed hotels. Another great way to win big in Las Vegas is to stay in a luxurious vacation rental home. With the help of host Taniya Nayak, the Viers family will tour three stunning rental properties, each packed with spectacular amenities. They get to choose which one they want to stay at."
The Viers family of four stays busy year round as Jason and Cara own three successful hair salons in the Charlotte, NC area: Salon 42 - Dilworth, Salon 42 - Lake Norman and Salon 42 - SouthPark. Jason is the Artistic Director with over 20 years of experience in the hair industry. Cara also works as an executive and dance instructor at the Harris YMCA. On a whim, they applied to be on the show and after an online application process, video submission and interviews, they were accepted. HGTV came to their home in Charlotte as well as their Dilworth Salon 42 location to shoot video footage, interview the family, and announce their destination in October of 2011. They were then flown to Las Vegas to continue shooting and then finally to enjoy some vacation time without the cameras rolling. "We were so excited to be chosen to go on this dream vacation! Our family had the best time of our lives, and we can't wait to experience it all over again while watching on TV!" says Salon 42 owner, Cara Viers.
