Sahara Force India's 'Raise The Flag' Campaign flags-off from Lucknow
The Lucknow leg of the Raise The Flag campaign is a signature campaign to garner support for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team as they prepare for their first ever home Grand Prix to be held on 30th October 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) October 26, 2011 - Rallying the spirits of a billion Indians, the Sahara Force India Formula One Team today flagged off the 'Raise The Flag' campaign in Lucknow with Mrs. Swapna Roy, Dy. Managing Worker, Sahara India Pariwar. The Lucknow leg of the Raise The Flag campaign is a signature campaign to garner support for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team as they prepare for their first ever home Grand Prix to be held on 30th October 2011.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Swapna Roy, Dy. Managing Worker, Sahara India Pariwar said, "It is a matter of great pride for the nation to see Sahara Force India Formula One Team, the only Indian Formula 1 Team at the Indian Grand Prix to be held on 30th October, 2011. The campaign spanned in 8 cities including Mumbai, Srinagar, Kolkata, Bangalore, Amritsar, Goa, Lucknow and Chandigarh, to promote Formula 1 in India and drive support for the India's only Formula 1 team. With the inaugural Indian Grand Prix just around the corner, the Sahara Force India Formula 1 Team gave the fans an opportunity to experience the excitement of Formula 1 with the 'Raise The Flag' campaign.
With the 'Raise The Flag' campaign, the Sahara Force India Formula One Team also gave the fans a chance to experience the thrills of life in the fast lane of a Formula 1 team as they got a chance to play the role of the Sahara Force India Formula 1 Team's pit stop crew. Fans also changed the tyres of the Sahara Force India's 'pit-stop' show car, a specially created show car and the only one in India to enable users to perform a realistic pit stop on a Formula 1 car.
The people also got a chance to see what it feels like to drive a Formula One car with a specially created simulator where one could virtually drive for the Sahara Force India Formula One Team while standing a chance to win fabulous Force India merchandise.
