Sage Erp Solution Bags Another Edge Award: This Time For A Noble Cause With SBUT
The Information Week magazine recently announced its prestigious EDGE award for 2014 under various Categories. The award under Enterprise Solution category went to Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT) for its successful implementation of Sage 300 ERP and Sage CRM applications.
- (1888PressRelease) September 30, 2014 - Mumbai, Maharashtra, India - Information week's 'Edge' Awards identify, recognize and honors companies in India who have demonstrated the best use of technology to solve business problems, improve business competitiveness and deliver quantifiable ROI to Stakeholders.
Saifee Burhani Upliftment Trust (SBUT), a not-for-profit Organization has undertaken a project to redevelop South Mumbai's vibrant but congested Bhendi Bazaar into a modern living and work space for its residents laid within the cradle of a state-of-the art and environmentally-friendly infrastructure.
SBUT wanted a robust and cost effective solution to manage their ever expanding needs for a Redevelopment Project. The project work began with a clear agenda of making a uniform system with multi point access for key stakeholders and data entry persons along with seamless integration with the in-house Slum Rehabilitation Management Software and Finance Functions. So far, SBUT has completed more than 80% of the acquisitions of land, buildings, residences and businesses.
This process involved discussions and negotiations with thousands of individual property owners and hence, required a proper channel for communication. Sage CRM's Self Service Portal served as a bridge for this purpose owing to its User Friendly Interface.
SBUT required all their functions from Account finance to Banking and from Procurements to Post development maintenance to be woven in a single string of software system. This would have uniform appearance and on the go reporting for management to be accessed from anywhere across the world. Construction Suit has tapped into this exact requirement and has unified all disintegrated systems with unidirectional data flow and robust base system. By the time the project moves into construction phase, the In-House Slum Management System will be integrated with Sage.
On the other hand, through the Self Service Portal, SBUT has managed to penetrate not only the surrounding areas of the project, but also distant parts of Mumbai. Owing to the Portal's accessibility from anywhere across the world, this project has been functioning smoothly without any hiccups.
All in all, SBUT is well on its way to fulfill its noble aim of giving the residents of Bhendi Bazaar a Respectable, state-of-the-art and environment friendly infrastructure to reside in.
"The award that SBUT has received confirms our dedication not only to improving businesses but also touching lives through the means of technology" concluded Sage Software Solutions Pvt Ltd CEO Jitendra Somani on the award.
