Safeauto Announces the Winners of its 3Rd Annual "Do the Jingle" Contest
SafeAuto, an Ohio-based auto insurance company that provides coverage to automobile drivers in fifteen states, is proud to announce the winners of its recent "Do the Jingle" contest.
- (1888PressRelease) March 12, 2011 - Columbus, OH -- SafeAuto, an Ohio-based auto insurance company that provides coverage to automobile drivers in fifteen states, is proud to announce the winners of its recent "Do the Jingle" contest, where contestants performed their own version of the popular SafeAuto advertising jingle. The winner, based on popular vote, is The Church Band. They will be featured in a nationally televised advertising campaign that will be produced by SafeAuto.
The top five winners in order: The Church Band, Sketch by Number, The Pinnell Dancers, America's Got SafeAuto, and The SafeAuto Hoedown. You can see each of their entry videos here on the official Do The Jingle website. The grand prize winner will receive a $5,000 SafeAuto advertising contract and star in their own commercial, with the rest of the winners receiving cash prizes.
The Church Band is a funk musical group from Chicago, Illinois offering up a music video with their own original composition of the SafeAuto commercial called "Don't Take a Chance."
Sketch by Number is a comedy troupe made up of former Ohio State students. The group performs regularly to audiences in the Ohio area. You can learn more about them and their shows from their official website.
The Pinnell Dancers are a group of dancers from Gahanna, OH that practice at a studio called the Pinnell Dance Centre, which has been in operation for over 35 years. Their official website is here.
America's Got SafeAuto is a spoof of the popular television show "America's Got Talent" from participants located in Columbus, OH.
The SafeAuto Hoedown comes from a group of entrants hailing from Atlanta, GA and offers some comedic relief as well as a country dance ending to finish off their entry.

This is the third year of the "Do the Jingle" contest. The polls closed on February 28 after a fantastic showing from many great contestants. SafeAuto would like to thank everyone who participated, and congratulate the winners!
