Sacramento Area's Largest Outdoor Disco Party To Benefit Ucp Of Greater Sacramento
Annual event raises funds for people with developmental disabilities.
- Sacramento, CA (1888PressRelease) July 29, 2010 - Sacramento area residents can turn the beat around for people with developmental disabilities as they get down with disco at the annual Rocklin '70s Disco Party Aug. 7, 7-11 p.m. The largest outdoor disco party in the Sacramento area will take place at the Whitney Oaks Clubhouse, 2305 Clubhouse Drive, Rocklin, and will raise funds for UCP of Greater Sacramento.
"This is such a fun and creative way to raise money," said Doug Bergman, president and CEO of UCP of Greater Sacramento. "At UCP, we are always excited about partnering with creative individuals to find new ways to empower people with developmental disabilities to live life without limits."
The event includes music, dancing, refreshments and the chance to purchase raffle tickets for prizes, including an Apple iPad, 49ers vs. Vikings tickets and a week in Cabo San Lucas. Each month, 2,600 children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families are empowered to live life without limits at UCP of Greater Sacramento.
