Sabakuch Symphony (2017) Heats Up with Addition of Wild Card Entrants
India's first online music competition; Sabakuch Symphony 2017 has come up with a list of 12 talented names who will enter the competition as 'Wild Card' entries.
- (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2017 - These 12 names will join the 30 winners of Level 1 and continue their music saga in Level 2 of the competition.
Sharing his perspective on the selection of Wild Card candidates, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Founder of Sabakuch India LLP said, ''We want the up-and-coming artists and musicians to get maximum benefit from this historic event. Not including them in the event would have meant budding music talent of Indian and Indians abroad would have had to be deprived of an opportunity to show their talent to the world. Also, we want to broad base the event after gauging the response to popular demand, so that all talented participants can take advantage of this opportunity and give it their best shot. I wish the participants for the wild card entries all the very best!''
The wild card entrants are from the original two categories which are a part of the competition. These include: Category I - Artists/Singers and Category II - Bands/Instrumentalists
The entrants can begin uploading their original compositions on the online music site of Symphony and make the users listen and vote for them. Only original compositions will be allowed this time which means that duplicity of uploading same music (from level 1) in level 2 will lead to disqualification/reduction of votes.
The uploading of songs for Level 2 begins from Thursday, April 27, 2017, and would end on Monday, May 8, 2017. Following this, the voting will begin for this round and it will close on May 11, 2017. The announcement of results for level 2 shall be made available on May 12 at 4 pm.
Sabakuch aims at being among the top 10 social networking sites in india and hosting first of its kind online event in the country is one of the many ways that it wishes to make its presence. Sabakuch Symphony 2017 also looks forward to uniting Indians with music by being open to 14 Indian languages in the event.
