S&ME Elects 6 Vice Presidents, Two from South Carolina
Black from Charleston, SC office and Still from Florence, SC office become S&ME newest Vice Presidents.
- Charleston-North Charleston, SC (1888PressRelease) March 24, 2012 - The S&ME Board of Directors has elected two new vice presidents of S&ME.
These two professionals have provided S&ME and our clients with outstanding service. All possess the qualities of attention to safety, service, integrity, professional skill and professional participation that distinguish an officer of S&ME.
Chuck Black, Charleston, SC
Tommy Still, Florence, SC
Chuck Black has been with Charleston Branch since 1992, after earning his B.S. in civil engineering from Clemson University. He obtained his professional engineering registration in 1997 and is a LEED Accredited Professional and has proven himself as an environmental leader regionally in S&ME. In his role as a business developer, Chuck is active in many organizations developing and maintaining client relationships. He continually mentors younger staff to develop relationships with clients and provides excellent client service at all times. Chuck has served as Senior Environmental Engineer for a variety of projects for the SC State Port Authority, City of North Charleston and Clemson University.
Tommy Still has been with S&ME for 18 years. He received his B.S. and MCE from NC State in 1993 and 1998 respectively. He started with S&ME in Raleigh as a Staff Engineer in the Construction Services department and moved to the Myrtle Beach area in 1998 to be the Project Engineer on the Conway By-Pass (SC 22) project. Tommy began developing additional local work which eventually led to the establishment of the Myrtle Beach branch. Tommy has established the Myrtle Beach branch with a diverse clientele providing a wide array of services. Through his focus on providing quality technical services in a responsive manner, he has succeeded in making S&ME the preferred provider of geotechnical, materials and environmental services for a majority of the branch clients. He has the respect of his staff, as well as others, and for several years has been a major contributor to the Risk Management Team.
