Greenville-Spartanburg-Anderson, SC (1888PressRelease) December 24, 2014 - Ryan's®, HomeTown® Buffet, and Old Country Buffet® are providing a home away from home for soldiers across the country this Christmas, as the family casual restaurants adopt soldiers who are currently on duty this holiday. On Thursday, December 25, select restaurants will be offering a free Christmas meal with all the fixings for these soldiers, who are currently serving at U.S. military bases in states including California, Florida, Louisiana, South Carolina, Texas, Washington, and Virginia. Soldiers were selected with the help of the Armed Services YMCA®.

Ryan's, HomeTown Buffet, and Old Country Buffet aligned with their national charitable partner, the ASYMCA, to identify the soldiers, who are serving at bases located by the restaurants. Each soldier will enjoy a complimentary meal featuring a special Christmas menu with carved meats, traditional home-style sides and popular holiday desserts.

Nearly all of the 320 buffet restaurants will be open on Christmas Day to serve guests from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Check your local restaurant for specific holiday hours and pricing.
