RWC's Humor Contest Deadline Approaches: Voting Starts 11/14
ResearchWritingCenter.com contest for funniest freelancing tale closes soon: on November 14th, fan voting begins. Good luck and thanks to all who enter and vote.
- (1888PressRelease) November 18, 2011 - The most recent writing contest from the ResearchWritingCenter.com is still accepting submissions, but the window of opportunity is closing soon. Voting for the winning entries starts on November 14th. We encourage all our readers to check out the essays, and cast their vote. Good luck to everyone who threw their hat into the ring.
RWC has chosen a different direction for the newest essay competition on our Facebook page. Rather than the previous call for constructive tips and advice for freelancers, this contest asks writers to make us laugh.
Funny stories relating to the practice of freelancing are the topic. Our staff has enjoyed reading the entries sent in thus far. They are looking forward to reading all the essays as they arrive.
We cannot check that they are strictly factual, but we expect plausibility and internal consistency. In other words, we are not looking for obvious tall tales.
The ones that have arrived thus far are revealing and touching, and already demonstrate how wide a variety of people our community includes. Nationality, age, background, other freelancing experience, and gender, all differ in fascinating ways. What ties these entries together is a commitment to writing.
Of course, that is one of several goals of this contest. We look forward to sharing some entertaining stories with everyone who uses our website, and we want to connect our users with one another. What better vehicle than humor?
Some of our users may a bit too shy to submit a story to the contest. We encourage those folks to breeze past such hesitations, because this is meant to be fun! This is a great opportunity for people with a secret ambition to share their writing to do so with little risk and great potential rewards. Money prizes and the adulation of our writing community await our winners.
However, for those hold-outs who don't want to share their funny anecdotes, there is another way to participate in this event. The voting will begin on the 14th of November, and this is a great chance for our fans to make their opinions known. We will be using the voting results as a criterion for selecting a winner.
We encourage our readers and followers to enter, to readall the submitted stories and other humor genres, and add theirpersonal opinion to the mix.
We also wish our competitors all the best luck in the world.
