The firm offers a full range of accounting, audit, tax, management consulting, forensic accounting, liquidations and IT consulting services. Its clients are located in Trinidad & Tobago, other Caribbean islands and Guyana, and they include subsidiaries of international corporations. The firm was founded as Date Montgomery & Co., with two partners, in 1975. David Montgomery continued as sole partner from 1982, and Ruthven Thompson joined the partnership in 2004.

The senior partner, David Montgomery, has more than 45 years' experience in the accounting profession. Before establishing his own practice, he trained and gained experience with local firms that are now part of Big-4 accounting groups. He is a Chartered Accountant, Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad and Tobago (ICATT). David's specialist areas of expertise are liquidations and forensic accounting.

Ruthven Thompson joined the firm as an audit trainee in 1993. He is now an audit partner and also has responsibility for clients' Information Technology needs. He is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Fellow Member of the UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Member of the ICATT.
