Russell Bedford approved by NASBA as a Registered CPE Sponsor
NASBA - the U.S. National Association of State Boards of Accountancy - has approved the Russell Bedford international accounting group as a Continuing Professional Education sponsor.
- (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2011 - The Russell Bedford CPA association has been approved as a registered sponsor of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) by NASBA - the U.S. National Association of State Boards of Accountancy.
The status of Registered CPE Sponsor affirms the accounting group's commitment to the delivery of high quality continuing professional education in compliance with the Statement of Standards for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Programs and the program requirements of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.
Approximately 1,700 program sponsors currently hold Registered CPE Sponsor status after demonstrating compliance with the standards approved jointly by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and NASBA. NASBA reviews applications on an ongoing basis and approves organizations to offer continuing professional education worth 'CPE credits' for CPAs and other licensed professionals.
