Rugby and Solidarity by Byron Kelleher to support the recent natural disasters in Japan and Thailand
Byron Kelleher, former All Blacks player and currently playing in France, hosts a charity event to support the recent natural disasters in Japan and Thailand.
- (1888PressRelease) May 20, 2011 - Byron Kelleher, a World Class Rugby Player with 58 selections whilst playing for the New Zealand All Blacks and currently playing for the Toulouse (France) since 2007 who as team won the French Cup and Heineken Cup (European Club Rugby) in 2010. Byron shares his love not only for rugby but also for the people of Asia and will be joined by other world class rugby players for a charity rugby match and dinner in solidarity and support for those who are suffering due to the recent natural disasters in Japan and Thailand and help rebuild a rugby club in the prefecture of Kamaishi, Japan.
The charity event in Thailand, sponsored by EADS (European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company) commences with EADS Trophy Rugby Tournament on Saturday 11th June at the Royal Sport Club from 2.00 p.m. followed by a Gala Dinner and Charity Auction at Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square from 7.30 p.m.
Tickets for the Gala Dinner and Charity Auction are sold at 3,800 Baht per person or 35,000 baht per table of 10 people and include a gala dinner and beverages, cocktail reception starting at 7.30 p.m. and charity auction where attendants can purchase belonging sports jerseys, balls, shoes and other belongings from Byron and other sport stars (NBA basketball, Formula 1, Rugby and Soccer/Football).
