(1888PressRelease) January 24, 2013 - The international trade magazine Bridal Buyer has announced its shortlist for the 2013 Awards, and Ruby Prom is one of 4 prom dress designers to be shortlisted in the "Best Prom Collection" category.

The awards shortlist are compiled by a seven-member team of retailers, media and a trade association representatives. Last year's winner was a big US design group, Impression Bridal.

The 2013 collection is the 4th collection designed and manufactured by Ruby Prom. The Mother-and-daughter design team have worked hard to create something fresh and unique. Amanda has just returned from a long trip to the Far East, so the news was a great welcome home present! Mother Michelle commented, 'Amanda and I are totally thrilled to be given a nomination for Ruby Prom and so are all the team here ! It means such a lot just to get a nomination as we are a new, and small company and up against some well-established giants in our field.'

The Ruby collection includes styles, from traditional ball gowns to one-shoulder mini's. There are some vibrant colours on offer, and exquisite detailing in diamante and tulle. Ruby Prom also produces a limited range of complimenting bags and shoes.
