Royal Wedding Book of Messages Called: Congratulations From The World www.CongratulateTheRoyals.com
Messages from around the world are being gathered at Congratulatetheroyals.com to be published in a hand-bound wedding book and delivered to Prince William & Kate Middleton.
- (1888PressRelease) April 15, 2011 - Messages are free because the founder of the initiative, Rashmi Ray, has covered the costs herself. The 24-year-old, who is a fashion blogger from London, says she was determined to do something special for the couple.
She says by making it free, everybody can be included: "For me, this book is about uniting the world, what could be a better gift than that? The Prince has followed in his mother's charitable footsteps, he is genuine and so is Kate and I wanted to do something different for them both. They are potentially our future King and Queen."
This initiative gives people a unique opportunity to be part of a book that could go down in history and was the first idea of its kind. Rashmi has already been interviewed by mainstream news networks, which will be airing this week and says she is excited with the response the book has had so far. She said:
"Within the first few days of launching, the site saw around a thousand visitors from 30 different countries. People are leaving very thoughtful messages. This is a nice experience for them, they love the idea and think about what they are going to say, it's fun."
Visitors are given an option to have their message streamed on a Twitter feed as well as being uploaded on to the Message page of the website. "People come back to the site to see their message and show their friends and family, which is nice." The founder said.
One message featured on the Twitter stream is from a lady in Alberta, Canada, who said: "Congratulations Will & Kate, Hope your special day is everything you have wished for. May your life be filled with joy and happiness."
The Royal wedding is on 29th April 2011, but messages are being received up until 30th May to give people enough time and perhaps feel inspired by the wedding day.
Any support with this initiative is most welcome. Companies or individuals who do support this will be publicised on the site's home page.
The book is being sectioned according to where the messages come from, so people are encouraged to represent their country.
