Royal Air Force explores the UK's Approach to Military Flight Training
SMi reports : RAF Director of Flying Training joins the expert speaker line-up at the 5th Military Flight Training conference in September.
- (1888PressRelease) June 30, 2016 - London, UK : Airbus Helicopters will shortly begin ground tests on the first of 29 H135 platforms in mid-July as part of the UK Military Flight Training System programme.
With the current focus and more than a billion pounds being invested by the Ministry of Defence to continue the modernisation of military flying training in the UK, SMi's 5th Military Flight Training Conference and Exhibition will provide a platform for to discuss strategies in enhancing training application and new technologies to meet the demands of 21st Century flying missions.
In line with this, SMi is proud to announce that Air Commodore David Bentley, Director of Flying Training, 22gp of the Royal Air Force has joined the senior military speaker line-up. Air Commodore Bentley will be presenting on "The UK Approach to Military Flight Training: Future Plans for the MFTS" on Day 1 of the conference at 9am.
Key points of his presentation will cover new techniques and approaches to flight training across the armed forces; the latest updates for Fast Jet, Rotary, and Fixed-Wing platforms; and recent case studies of successful pilot integration into front line squadrons.
Air Commodore David Bentley joins RAF comrade Air Commodore (ret'd) Terry Jones, Former Director Flying Training, who will chair the conference.
