Rotary Suraksha Scholarship" to Ms. Suha Nitin Ivalekar

- (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2014 - One of the pioneers in India of the rotary movement, The Rotary Club of Bombay today announced a scholarship for Ms. Suha Nitin Ivalekar, daughter of Late Mr. Nitin Ivalekar, the fireman who passed away in the line of duty while courageously dousing the fire that raged at Lotus Business Park in Andheri West on July 18, 2014. The felicitation has been organized at the Taj Mahal Hotel in the presence of Rotarians. In this scholarship the club will take care of all her education including school and tuition fees, textbooks, etc. till her graduation.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Shailesh Haribhakti, President 2014-15 of the Rotary Club of Bombay said, "We are pleased to offer a small amount of provision to Suha, who is already dealing with a personal loss. We hope that this small gesture will aid her in achieving her dreams. We wish her all the very best for her future endeavors."
I am extremely touched with the support my daughter has received from Rotary Club of Bombay", said Ms. Shubhangi Nitin Ivalekar, Mother of Suha on receiving the scholarship. "I want to thank each member of the club for considering my daughter for this scholarship. Suha is a bright child and I am sure she will work hard to achieve all her dreams and make her family and Rotary club of Bombay proud."
