Atlanta, GA (1888PressRelease) March 02, 2011 - Aikido Association of Atlanta and Roswell Budokan are again hosting the seminar "Self Defense for Women" on July 10th. The class, lead by Aikido World Alliance Certified Instructors, focuses on situational awareness and decisive action based on the evasive movements, strikes, throws and joint locks of Aikido.
This seminar, by special request, will add a special section for teen girls and the unique circumstances that they can encounter at school or in social situations. candid discussions on predator behavior, date rape and high school bullying will take place with practical solutions presented and practiced.
Roswell Budokan is a state of the art Martial Arts and Cultural Center located in Roswell, Georgia and is the home of the Aikido Association of Atlanta. The Aikido Association of Atlanta is a non-profit entity with all of the instructors volunteers. Martial Arts; Aikido, Karate, Ju Jitsu, Tai Chi are also offered throughout the week plus after school programs for school age children.
