Ross School of Business Club of Southeast Michigan Hosts Cloud Computing Seminar at Online Tech
Speakers to Discuss "Cloud Computing: Approach Innovatively and Understand Trends".
- Ann Arbor, MI (1888PressRelease) April 04, 2012 - The Ross School of Business Club of Southeastern Michigan will be hosting a seminar on April 19, 2012 at Online Tech's newest Ann Arbor Data Center to discuss cloud computing. The seminar, "Cloud Computing: Approach Innovatively and Understand Trends," will analyze current trends in cloud computing and how businesses looking to move to the cloud can adopt and utilize the technology.
The speakers include Mike Klein, Online Tech's President and Chief Operating Officer; Gary Baker, Chief Information Officer at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers; and the University of Michigan's M.S. Krishnan, Area Chair of Information Technology. The presentations on cloud computing seek to inform businesses about how the cloud can be used in current business practices.
Gary Baker is the Co-Host of Internet Advisor Radio Program on WJR. Gary was previously the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Gale (Cenage) Learning; Vice President of Information Technology at Borders; and Director of Information Technology Transformation Services at Alix Partners. Gary holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business.
Prior to Online Tech, Mike Klein was the Chief Executive Officer of Interlink Networks, Managing Partner of Company Crafters and the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Steeplechase Software. Mike has an MBA from the Ross School of Business.
M.S. Krishnan is the Faculty Director of the India Initiatives at the Ross School of Business. He is also a frequent instructor with Ross Executive Education and co-authored "The New Age of Innovation" with C.K. Prahalad. He holds a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University.
