Rosecrance Foundation Benefit: Mon., April 27 Schedule for the day includes afternoon event

Rockford, IL (1888PressRelease) April 28, 2015 - The multi-platinum country music quartet Lonestar will warm up for their evening event to benefit Rosecrance by performing Monday afternoon, April 27, for teens in treatment for substance abuse at the Rosecrance Griffin Williamson Campus, 1601 N. University Drive.

Lonestar, on tour to celebrate their 20th year making music together, will headline the annual Rosecrance Foundation Benefit Monday evening at Giovanni's. Media are invited to both events. The evening event also includes a video called "Discovering Dreams in Recovery," featuring Rosecrance alumni, and presentation of the Castle Award. Businessman and entrepreneur John J. McDonough will be honored with the Castle Award to recognize his long commitment to the Rosecrance mission.

Here's the lineup for events on Monday, April 27, 2015:

AFTERNOON PERFORMANCE AND PRESS CONFERENCE

What: Lonestarwill perform for adolescents in treatment and answer their questions, after which group members will be available for media interviews. (Media may record and photograph the performers but are prohibited from showing images of clients.)

ROSECRANCE FOUNDATION BENEFIT

What: The annual benefit raises funds for charity care to serve individuals who need financial assistance for treatment of substance use and mental health disorders. The 2015 Benefit will feature entertainment by Lonestar, presentation of the Castle Award to John J. McDonough and stories of hope from Rosecrance clients in recovery. More than 800 guests are expected at the event.
