Ron Finkelstein Appointed to AICPA's Health Care Expert Panel
Finkelstein has received the South Florida Business Journal's Excellence in Accounting Award for Healthcare and Power Leader in Healthcare in addition to the Key Partners Award.
- (1888PressRelease) September 27, 2012 - MIAMI - Ron Finkelstein, CPA/ABV, principal-in-charge of the Healthcare Services Group of Morrison, Brown, Argiz & Farra, LLC (MBAF), was recently appointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Health Care Expert Panel for the 2012-2013 year.
The AICPA is the national professional organization of CPAs, with nearly 377,000 members in the business and accounting industry, public practice, government and education fields. It serves as an advocate before legislative bodies, public interest groups and other professional organizations. The Health Care Expert Panel serves the needs of their members on financial, business reporting and audit and attest matters. The panel protects the interests of members by bringing together knowledgeable parties to come to agreement on important healthcare issues. Currently the panel consists of 13 members.

He has received the South Florida Business Journal's Excellence in Accounting Award for Healthcare and Power Leader in Healthcare in addition to the Key Partners Award.
Finkelstein is an ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation and a member of the AICPA Forensic and Valuation Services Section. He has also served as president of the National CPA Health Care Advisor's Association, and editor of Practice Management Advisory. In addition to the AICPA, he is a member of key professional organizations including the FICPA, American Health Lawyers Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association, Medical Group Management Association and the National CPA Health Care Advisor's Association.
