Roche to increase payroll by 2 percent as of 1 April 2011 in Switzerland
Roche is increasing the payroll for its workforce of roughly 10,800 in Switzerland by 2 percent with effect from 1 April 2011. This increase is the outcome of negotiations between the company and employee representatives.
- (1888PressRelease) December 02, 2010 - The increase also takes account of the financial situation of Roche in Switzerland, market salaries and wages for comparable employment, Download and increases in the cost of living.
Over recent weeks the company has been negotiating the 2011 payroll increase with the Roche Switzerland Employees’ Association and Arbeiterkommission Roche Basel. The outcome, which has the agreement of all parties, is the result of constructive negotiations. The 2 percent payroll increase will be used to calculate the total amount available to managers for distribution to their staff in the form of individual, performance-based salary increases as of 1 April 2011.
