Roche, GSK, Merck Serono, Sanofi-Aventis and many more will meet in June at 11th annual ADMET conference and exhibition
SMi Group reports: Big Pharma will meet at SMi's 11th annual ADMET conference and exhibition which will take place on the 13th and 14th June 2016 in London, UK.
- (1888PressRelease) February 25, 2016 - The two day conference will explore novel and emerging non-clinical ADME approaches, structure based prediction of ADME properties, PK/PD modelling to validate drug targets, toxicity and much more.
Day 1 will address topics on optimisation for drug design and discovery as well as translating non-clinical ADME data to the clinic while Day 2 explores linking PK with safety and improving drug-drug interaction.
KEY PRESENTATIONS NOT TO BE MISSED:
Carl Petersson, DMPK NCE Senior Designer from Merck Serono will present on Day One of the event with his presentation entitled 'Early dose predictions - a valuable tool in risk assessment and optimisation of small molecules' The session will focus on the value of integrating translational PKPD in early development as well as the requirements for translational PKPD.
On Day Two of the event Friedemann Schmidt, R&D DSAR Preclinical Safety, Sanofi-Aventis will discuss: current preclinical in silico toxicology; ADMET modelling, leading to quantitative structure-toxicity relationships as well as analysing and predicting pre-/clinical toxicity based on target interaction profiles.
Joining Merck Serono and Sanofi-Aventis at ADMET 2016 will include senior industry thought leaders from University of Surrey, Roche, GSK, UCB Pharma, Genentech, Lundbeck and many more
For the full agenda break down with all speakers and their topics please visit the event website www.admet-event.com/1888pressrelease
HIGHLIGHTS FOR 2016:
• Discover application of PBPK to drug development in rare diseases
• Review the role of drug transporters in drug delivery to CNS diseases
• Learn about better models for understanding, predicting and avoiding drug induced liver injury
• Discuss in silico approaches to evidence-based mechanistic modelling
• Analyse early dose predictions - a valuable tool in risk assessment and optimisation of small molecules
Delegates also have the opportunity to take part in a half-day post-conference workshop. The workshop entitled 'Molecular properties and intermolecular interactions in virtual ADMET assessment' will be led by Mire Zloh, Head of Medicinal and Analytical Chemistry Research Group, University of Hertfordshire and Teresa Barata, Research Associate, UCL School of Pharmacy
To register or for further information on the workshop/leaders please visit the event website www.admet-event.com/1888pressrelease
For those interested in attending, there is currently an early bird offer available saving £400 off of the conference price which expires on the 29th of February.
