Roche Bobois was center-court star as sponsor for 'All About Tennis' Aventura Marketing Council breakfast
Global furniture icon Roche Bobois Paris is opening a new showroom in Aventura, Florida in the coming weeks. The company has joined the Aventura Marketing council at the highest "Governor" level and sponsored the organization's February tennis-themed breakfast meeting.

The four "seeds" in this event included Ivan Baron, Chairman of the Delray Beach Open by The Venetian; Argentina's Guillermo Canas, Tennis Ambassador at Turnberry Isle and former 8th in the world; Gustavo Oribe, Tennis Director at Turnberry Isle and Maurice Ruah, former #1 player in Venezuela.
The pros were insightful when talking about the future of tennis, today's longer careers, the challenges of planning major tournaments like the upcoming Delray Classic and more. A highlight was when Canas, who beat Roger Federer twice, told a humorous story about how he was beaten by Ruah earlier in their careers.
Roche Bobois, the world's largest designer and distributor of high-end contemporary furniture with more than 270 locations in 45 countries, is opening their new Aventura showroom at 19907 Biscayne Boulevard. The 4,500-sq.-ft. facility is expected to be open by the beginning of March.
Aventura Marketing Council chairman Cliff Schulman, Weiss Serota Helfman, got the meeting off to a good start, which included the presentation of two plaques to Roche Bobois' Julien Bigan, Communications Director U.S., for sponsoring the event and for being a new Council member. Bigan noted, "I want to mention the two 'Adlers' who made this all possible - our PR Firm, The Adler Network, who introduced me to the 'second' Adler- Elaine [no relation]. Through the Adlers' guidance, Roche Bobois concluded that Aventura was perfect for our new showroom."
