Olympia, WA (1888PressRelease) March 23, 2012 - Rob Rice Homes, a new home builder located in Thurston County Washington is hosting a Cutest Pet Photo Contest for South Sound Pets. The Facebook photo contest will benefit Concern for Animals a local non-profit, serving the needs of animals by providing a variety of veterinary services.
Photo of pets may be submitted beginning March 26, 2012 through April 17, 2012 by visiting Rob Rice Homes & Epic Realty, Inc. Facebook page at www.facebook.com/epicrealty . Concern for Animals will receive a $2 donation for every contest entry submission courtesy of Rob Rice Homes.
"This contest is a great way for us to have some fun with our neighbors in the community and demonstrate our love for our pets," says new home builder and dog owner, Rob Rice. "Concern for Animals gives so much to animals in need in our area and this is a way for us to give back to them and help funding."
Small donations can make a difference for a non-profit. Rob Rice Homes is encouraging high levels of participation. Everyone is encouraged to submit their pet photos to benefit Concern for Animals. Donations may be used to help fund some of the following:
Spay/Neuter: $20-$40
Emergency Medical Care: $100+
Dog Food Bag: $1.00/lb dry
Cat Food Bag: $1.50/lb dry
Following the submission period Facebook users will be able to cast a vote their favorite pet photo each day from April 18, 2012 through May 2, 2012. The top 3 vote recipients will be announced on May 3, 2012 and will receive the gift certificates to Mud Bay, a dog and cat supply store based in Thurston County.
1st Place - $100 Gift Certificate
2nd Place - $50 Gift Certificate
3rd Place - $25 Gift Certificate
About Rob Rice: New home builder Rob Rice has lived in the South Puget Sound area since 1985 and resides in Olympia, WA., with his wife Helena, their sons Alex Michael and Carson Nicholas and their two dogs Rainier and Gabi. Rob is a graduate of Washington State University with a degree in architecture and construction management. In his spare time he enjoys coaching his son's baseball and basketball teams through the YMCA.
