- (1888PressRelease) July 27, 2012 - CAMP HILL, Pa. - The Rite Aid Foundation announced today a $5,000 grant to Women Are Dreamers Too, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides support services to victims of domestic abuse throughout Georgia. Women Are Dreamers Too, Inc. was founded in 1998 as a volunteer job placement service for homeless women of downtown Atlanta. While providing job placement services to these women, it became known that many of these women were survivors of domestic or sexual abuse. As such, it became clear that a more comprehensive approach to job placement, including intense counseling, short-term shelter, child nutrition intervention, and literacy education, was needed.
