Rita's Italian Ice Awards Master Licensee for India
New Delhi's South Asian Food & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. to Open 50 of the United States Largest Italian Ice concept, Rita's, Across India over the Next 10 Years.
- (1888PressRelease) May 08, 2012 - Rita's Italian Ice®, the United States largest Italian Ice concept with more than 550 stores, will introduce their famous Italian Ice to India. A Master Licensee development agreement has been awarded to South Asian Food & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. (SAFHPL), a subsidiary company of South Asian Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd. (SAHSPL) based in New Delhi, India. The new Master Licensee announced its aggressive development plan for India, with the first location opening in New Delhi.

SAHSPL is a multi-brand / multi-unit franchisee of domestic brands including Nirulas, Moti Mahal, Rajdhani and now in partnership with India's Wagh Bakri Tea Company operates Tea Lounges across India.The New Delhi based SAFHPL also has recently forged Master Franchise agreements with U.S. brand Quiznos and Australian brand Muffin Break. SAFHPL would adopt franchising as a mode of expansion for these international brands to penetrate the Indian market.

Guests will be able to choose from traditional Italian Ice, a smooth and delicious treat made with real fruit, available in over 50 flavors including the most popular Cherry, Alex's Lemonade, Mango, Swedish Fish®, Cotton Candy and Island Fusion just to name a few!Rita's Ice is made fresh on-site daily at each store, making it like no other frozen treat.
