- (1888PressRelease) August 27, 2015 - As part of the 12th Annual International Business Awards, RiseSmart, the leading provider of contemporary career transition services, was recognized today as the winner of a Stevie® Award in the category of Most Innovative Company of 2015 in Canada and the U.S.
While this is the sixth Stevie Award for RiseSmart in the category of Most Innovative Company, it is the first award for the company from the International Business Awards. The recognition is of particular importance in light of RiseSmart's growth in Canada, where the company opened a new office earlier this year.
"It is an honor to receive this recognition from the International Business Awards," said Sanjay Sathé, RiseSmart president and CEO. "At RiseSmart, we strive to continually innovate our services and are pleased to be now offering our industry-leading solutions to better help our customers in Canada. RiseSmart is deeply grateful to be recognized as a winner this year, and is thrilled to be considered among so many other worthy organizations."
More than 3,700 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Company of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, and Executive of the Year, among others.
"The IBAs grow in stature and renown every year, and with that the number and quality of entries increases," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards. "This year's judges were treated to more than 3,700 stories of success and achievement around the world. We thank the judges for their time and feedback, and we congratulate the Gold, Silver and Bronze Stevie winners whom we'll celebrate in Toronto in October."
Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process from May through early August.
