Ripley's Key West offers new Haunted Lock Down tour

Miami, FL (1888PressRelease) December 23, 2014 - Ripley's Key West is now offering a new after-hours tour for visitors - if they dare.

The new Ripley's Haunted Lock Down takes guests on a chilling nighttime tour of the Ripley's Key West building to experience what staffers have been saying for years - this place is haunted.

Several people have seen apparitions of a little girl; others report being pushed when no one else is around. Some say they've experienced nightmares after touching a mask on display.

Haunted Lock Down guests will learn the history of hauntings that date back to the 1800's and continue today and will get exclusive up-close access to usually guarded exhibits that have ghostly attachments. Each guest receives their own electromagnetic reader (EMR) and laser grid to detect visual disturbances that can't be seen with the naked eye.

Some of the haunted items on display have been written about in the famous book Haunted Key West by David Sloan.

Haunted Lock Down tours are available nightly. Tickets are $21.99 for adults and $12.99 for children. Tours start at 8:30 pm and must be reserved in advance by calling 305-293-9939. Ripley's Key West Odditorium is located at 108 Duval Street.
