Ripley's Believe It or Not! Offers Free Admission on Saturday if Mayan Prediction is True
If the world ends on Friday, free admission to Ripley's Believe It or Not! museums on Saturday.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) December 19, 2012 - Ripley's Believe It or Not! has an unheard of apocalyptic offer for people who experience the end of the world on Friday - free admission to any of the 32 Ripley's Believe It or Not! Odditoriums on Earth on Saturday.*
"If the earth crumbles, burns, implodes, or just goes dark on Friday, at least people will have something to look forward to on Saturday," said Tim O'Brien, VP of Communications for Ripley's Believe It or Not!
As the authority on all things weird (but true), Ripley's researchers have not been able to verify the Mayan claims. Company experts have reviewed the Mayan calendar, Mayan culture and even Maya Angelou - and can't verify the prophecy as true; the hallmark necessary to become a genuine "believe it or not!"
"We feel pretty good about this deal, but if we're wrong it's going to cost us a lot of money," added O'Brien.
Should the world *not* end on Friday, people are invited to experience all the weird, bizarre and amazing things that Ripley's has to offer - they'll just have to purchase a ticket to do so.

*Proof of end of the world required. No purchase necessary. Cannot be combined with other offers. May contain traces of nuts, and by that we mean nutty people.
