Rigid Global Industries Execs Tour Their New Partner's Steel Building Facilities In China
The executives from the USA were able to not only tour the Chinese steel building facilities but also a very special ongoing project of 500 villas.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) June 30, 2011 - After negotiations which lasted two years Rigid Building Systems out of Houston, Texas and Jinhuan Steel, of China, were finally able to solidify their joint-venture. This resulted in the birth of Rigid Global Industries.
Since the Chinese counterparts had already visited the United States during the negotiation phase, it was the American top management executives' turn to visit the Chinese facilities, which are located in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province.
The US executives, including Alex Ghodsi (CMO, Chairman of the Board), Bowen Lo (COO), Steve Olson (Exec. VP) and Carrie Miller (PR& Marketing Mgr) were able to meet with their Chinese counterparts for strategic planning sessions along with touring the facility to become familiarized with the operations. Other highlights on the travel agenda included jobsite visits of projects such as the single-family home development in an urban setting of high-rise buildings. This project is comprised of 500 villa-type residences along with a winding river and community and recreation centers.
"We were very impressed with the unwavering dedication to the success of each of the operations by its directors and employees", one of the American execs stated. In addition to the steel buildings plant and associated companies tours, jobsite visits of completed projects along with some projects under construction were part of the agenda.
The highlight of the jobsite visits was the single family home development in a land of high rise construction. This unique project features a private villa development of 500 homes complete with a winding lazy river and several large square footage community and recreation centers located throughout the development.
The American executives also had the opportunity of visiting such sites as the Great Wall of China, the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and notable Olympic venues from the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Future trips such as this one are expected by Rigid Global executives as the company seeks to grow and expand into other international markets.
