Rexer-Parkes Premieres New Custom Evening Wear Line at the Pro Bowl
Long Island's high fashion mainstay Rexer-Parkes premiered a custom private collection of evening wear at a cocktail party at the 2012 Pro Bowl in Honolulu.

Louise Rexer Smith, marketing executive and daughter of owner Francine Rexer, as well as Ashely Kolarcik, Rexer-Parkes' head buyer, hosted the cocktail party on Tuesday, January 24, at the JW Marriott Ihilani exclusively for the wives and guests of the NFL.
"Having been in marketing and entertainment for the last 18 years, I've had the pleasure of attending many events. The festivities leading up to the Pro Bowl are spectacular, but we wanted to add a little something special just for the ladies," said Rexer Smith.
Rexer-Parkes has been featuring hand-selected high-end collections in-store for over 31 years, and has been working with lead seamstress Lorri Toth for the last seven years. Toth, who came from Vera Wang Bridal, lent her expertise to the in-house design team which created this exclusive private collection.
The party was the brainchild of Joseph's Custom Clothiers founder Joseph Wendt. Mr. Wendt had been attending the Pro Bowl to meet with players, coaches and members of NFL administration and discuss their wardrobing needs for over 20 years.
"I talked to Francine [Rexer] about having something for the women attending the Pro Bowl," said Wendt. "There isn't too much that is offered to them during the week, so I suggested having a cocktail party to showcase their new custom line of evening wear. At the very least, we would be able to provide a fabulous time for our guests."
