Reston Author Raises Money and Awareness about Cancer through New Memoir
Chris4Life and author Sean Murphy partner to raise money for colon cancer awareness through books sales.
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) March 04, 2014 - Sean Murphy, local speaker and author, has recently partnered with Chris4Life to raise money and awareness about caring for a loved one with cancer.
His book, Please Talk About Me When I'm Gone, explains how he and his family struggled with the illness which resulted in his mother's death in 2002. "I knew I would inevitably write about her, but I wasn't certain what form the material would take. Eventually I realized it could be -it had to be- a memoir. The result is Please Talk about Me When I'm Gone," explained Murphy.
Chris4Life is a non-profit organization whose mission is to permanently eliminate the threat of colon cancer through discovery of a cure. Chris4Life has partnered with Murphy to share his experience with cancer with its supporters through books sales. 100% of each book sale through http://www.chris4life.org/ is being donated to the organization.
