Martin J. Dorfner, Jr., managing director of Resources Global Professionals in Pittsburgh, was recently recognized by Duquesne University as the 2010 Distinguished Accounting Alumnus and Honorary Member of Beta Alpha Psi.

Dorfner, Jr., managing director in Pittsburgh, was recognized by Duquesne University as the 2010 Distinguished Accounting Alumnus and Honorary Member of Beta Alpha Psi.

Dorfner joined Resources in September 1999 and was instrumental in the launch of the Pittsburgh office. As managing director, Dorfner is responsible for business development, client relations and oversight of more than 65 local Consultants. Prior to Resources, Dorfner worked for Source Services Corporation, later acquired by Kforce. He began his career at J.J. Bosley, CPA, a local CPA firm, then moved quickly into internal audit with PNC Bank.
Dorfner received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Duquesne University. He has been an active member of the Accounting Advisory Board for 10 years, with two of those spent as the chair. He is an active member of the Duquesne School of Business Alumni Association and is the board president for Pittsburgh Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
