ResearchWritingCenter.com is really satisfied with the photo contest results.
- (1888PressRelease) May 06, 2011 - The ResearchWritingCenter.com officially announced the winner of the photo contest at the end of last week and the results were additionally distributed through the company blog this Wednesday. The article posted on the blog was commemorated to the contest participants and the RWC staff had a lot to say about the whole competition.
"We had a great time […] There was a lot of activity on the Facebook page right after we have announced the results. The reactions weren't always good - a lot of people, who submitted photos didn't agree with the results. But we think that such reactions are OK, after all - who wouldn't want to win the contest prize of $500. We managed to calm people down and eventually they realized that they've lost in a fair competition. We even had a situation, when the mom of a contest participant posted on our Facebook wall about the contest and about the fact, that her son's submission should have been selected as the winner! […] That submission was actually great, it was unique and contained a custom made RWC logo in the back and won the hearts of our staff. We actually decided to offer a consolation prize to this contestant, given that he actually made the logo by himself, with a little help from his mother, as it turned out later! We find this really cool: this sort of fan engagement is what makes our community shine. We hope to see more of such submissions in the future!" - says Jennifer Burns, one of the head managers at the ResearchWritingCenter.com project.
The project isn't going to stop on this competition. The ResearchWritingCenter.com is planning another essay-based contest, which is still in the making. These contests help the RWC engage with its fans and users more actively, offering them more freedom of expression and making the process a lot more fun. This is one of main goals of the RWC as a community-based company: a lot of the stuff going on inside of it is the result of how the community as a whole interacts with each one of its separate members. And at this point RWC is satisfied with the outcomes.
