Fandango Restaurant, located in the heart of Pacific Grove, stands for a heritage of good taste, craftsmanship of award winning cuisine and 26 years of tradition. Pierre and Marietta Bain announced today that they have teamed up with renowned Monterey Bay Area poet Patrice Vecchione for the launch of her new book of poems with a special benefit for the Food Bank of Monterey County.

• Location is upstairs at Fandango Restaurant located at 223 17th Street in Pacific Grove.
• Join Patrice at Fandango Restaurant for an intimate and rousing reading from "The Knot Untied" followed by conversations about the knots poetry can untie that no other form can. Patrice will discuss the unusual route she took to publish this collection. "The Knot Untied" was published by a community of readers. She developed an Indiegogo campaign that she announced through Facebook, creating a venue for the community to fund her new book. Very quickly, teachers, housewives, musicians, doctors and lawyers came together to make it possible for her new collection of poems "The Knot Untied" to BE published. She will also share her original art from which the book's cover originates.
• Cost is $40 per person plus tax and gratuity. $25 from every ticket sale will go to support The Food Bank For Monterey County. The Food Bank for Monterey County is the largest provider of emergency supplemental food in Monterey County. Our mission is "to lead community efforts in the awareness and elimination of hunger in Monterey County." The food bank solicits, collects, stores, and redistributes food to individuals as well as non-profit agencies that serve the aged, ill, and needy. The Food Bank for Monterey County is a member of Feeding America, the national network of food banks. Feeding America is the largest domestic hunger-relief organization in the United States.
