- (1888PressRelease) July 08, 2010 - Chicago, IL - One of the country's best known and most revered experts on leadership will deliver the keynote address at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's (NAMA) new blockbuster coffee event, CoffeeShow 2010, NAMA VP Sales and Service Dean Gilland, NCE5, CCS announced today. Henry Givray, President and CEO of SmithBucklin, will speak on "The Passion of Leadership," at the new event which is the single largest coffee, tea and water show in the U.S. for operators which will being held Oct. 20-22, 2010, at Bally's in Las Vegas.

He has been cited in several books and has authored articles for Business Week and Crain's Chicago Business. He is also one of 25 leaders featured in the 2007 book, Apples Are Square-Thinking Differently About Leadership, by Susan Smith Kuczmarski and Thomas D. Kuczmarski, in which they write about the results of their five-year search to characterize the ideal 21st century leader.
Between 1983 and 1996, Givray worked for SmithBucklin and then returned to the company in August 2002. Under his leadership the company exceeded past performance records in areas that include client retention, new client acquisition, employee satisfaction, financial performance and growth. The company even became 100 percent employee-owned.
