Renovated Ripley's Believe It or Not! Key West Odditorium is NOW OPEN
At the newly renovated Key West Odditorium Ripley's Believe It or Not! fans will find new galleries, exhibits, games and more.
- Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) December 20, 2012 - Ripley's Believe It or Not! Key West Odditorium has reopened after closing for a couple weeks for a much-needed makeover (hey, a decade in the Florida sun at that latitude will do that to you). This is the first major overhaul for the Key West landmark.
Visitors will quickly notice the changes, which include:
• A fully remodeled lobby
• Renovated galleries featuring 50 new exhibits
• New interactive games
• New arcade
New exhibits include a wedding dress made entirely out of toilet paper, a Captain Jack Sparrow statue made exclusively from car parts, "Bad to the Bone" - a motorcycle made from road kill, and a Fiji mermaid so real it even fooled a museum expert. The new additions bring the total number of exhibits in the weird, odd, strange and curious collection to more than 500!
Ripley's Key West Odditorium is located at 108 Duval Street. Hours are from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.
