Renovated Parking Management System in Domodedovo Airport
A new parking management system ABACUS recognized in more than 30 countries was put into operation in the surrounding area of the passenger terminal of Moscow Domodedovo Airport.
- (1888PressRelease) July 31, 2010 - The renovated facility consists of entrance/exit control terminals, barrier gates, automatic pay stations and an operating system.
The new system has been installed on a short stay parking # 1, long stay parking # 4 and in the public transport area of the landside.
Now passengers may benefit from certain advantages provided by such an installation. Thus capacity has been increased up to 150 cars going through one entrance/exit control terminal per hour. Frequent clients can be issued multi-entry tickets. Automatic pay stations and entry/exit terminals feature two-way communication speakers connecting to a central parking control unit operator. Flexible tariff policy is applied to services provided on the parking # 1.
Entry/exit control unit of the system is capable to read car plates and print out a ticket with date and time of entrance. The ticket is issued only when a car occupies identification zone. More over the system is giving out a signal when entry is incomplete.
Automatic pay stations are conveniently located in the parking area and accept banknotes from 50 to 1000 rubles value.
