Former U.S. Magistrate Judge and Adjunct Professor of Law Ron Hedges to Join Panel with In-House Counsel and RenewData Chief Scientist
- Washington, DC-MD-VA-WV (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2012 - RenewData, a full-service eDiscovery provider that offers the industry's broadest spectrum of review acceleration solutions, announced that registration is now open for its webinar titled "Unique eDiscovery Challenges in Financial Services." The webinar, scheduled for October 23 at 1 p.m. ET, will feature panelists Ron Hedges, former U.S. Magistrate Judge, Susan Nielsen Hammond, Ops & Tech Legal Support for Regions Financial - Technology BDS, Andy Kraftsow, Chief Scientist for RenewData and Hope Swancy-Haslam, Director of Market Development for RenewData.
Not all eDiscovery is the same and this is particularly true in the financial services arena where timeframes are constrained, datasets are broad, and the stakes are especially high. The highly regulated segment often suffers from serial litigations, no standardization of eDiscovery workflow, budget uncertainty and the potential to incur steep penalties if there is a failure to adhere to policies.
The panelists will discuss which review acceleration solutions are well suited for financial services, as well as:
- Specific and unique eDiscovery challenges your peers are facing.
- How technology-assisted review can save you 70-80% in time and costs.
- Alternatives that are available for technology-assisted review and how to choose the best alternative for each distinct challenge.
- Best practices for leveraging technology-assisted review (including building effective seed sets).
There is no charge for this webinar. All attorneys and legal technology professionals are invited to attend.
