More than 700 high school students take part in Prom Night Makeover.
(1888PressRelease) June 09, 2011 - Heathrow, Fla. - Every high school student wants to look their best on prom night, but not everyone can afford the cost of a trip to the salon. That's why Remington College offered its second annual Prom Night Makeover promotion.
Through Prom Night Makeover, instructors and students in Remington College Cosmetology Programs provided complimentary salon services for high school students.
A total of 761 complimentary services were provided in April and May. Girls received up-dos, makeup applications, manicures and pedicures, while boys received haircuts.
"The high school students who came in for Prom Night Makeover felt like they were getting the royal treatment," said Dr. Mike Lanouette, Vice President and Chief Academic Officer for Remington College. "And our students and instructors really enjoyed the opportunity to help these kids look and feel their best."
Remington College's Cosmetology Diploma Program teaches students the art of hair, skin and nail care through traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training by working with real clients at campus student salons.
Remington College's cosmetology school is available at the following campuses: Baton Rouge, Cleveland, Columbia, Dallas, Honolulu, Houston, Houston Southeast, North Houston, Memphis, Mobile, Nashville and Tampa.
