Remington College Provides More than 1,600 Free Back-to-School Haircuts This Summer

Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) September 18, 2014 - Remington College has wrapped up another successful Cuts for Kids promotion, providing more than 1,600 complimentary back-to-school haircuts through its cosmetology programs.

Each summer, Remington College students and instructors offer free haircuts to students 17 years old and younger. The goal is to send kids back to school looking and feeling their best - and saving their parents some money.

In the six years since starting Cuts for Kids, Remington College has provided more than 13,700 complimentary haircuts for kids - as well as some free salon services for their parents.

The Remington College Cosmetology Program takes a hands-on approach to teaching students the art of hair, skin and nail care. Cuts for Kids allows students, under the supervision of instructors, to have the opportunity to work with real clients in a salon setting. The program is available at twelve Remington College campuses: Baton Rouge, Tampa, Houston (three locations), Cleveland, Mobile, Lafayette, Nashville, Dallas, Columbia (South Carolina) and Honolulu.
