Remington College Lafayette Campus to help kids look their best for the first day of school

Lafayette, LA (1888PressRelease) August 06, 2019 - The countdown is on for back to school, and Remington College Lafayette Campus is snipping away the stress of getting ready with its Cuts for Kids program.

Throughout the month of August, Remington College Lafayette Campus is providing free back-to-school haircuts for students 17 years and younger.

The Cuts for Kids program allows parents to trim haircuts off their hefty back to school prep lists, while helping children look and feel their best.

The program also allows students in Remington College’s cosmetology program to practice their skills in a real-life salon environment. This program is one of the many ways Remington College gives back to the community.

Remington College has provided more than 17,000 free back-to-school haircuts through the Cuts for Kids program, which is in its 11th year.

Here’s how to participate at Remington College Lafayette Campus:
Dates: Thursday, August 1, 2019, to Saturday, August 31, 2019

Hours: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There is also a deal for parents. Anyone who brings a donation of school supplies, such as pens, pencils or notebooks, will also receive 50 percent off one salon service. Appointments are recommended for all.

The Remington College Cosmetology program uses traditional classroom instruction and hands-on training to teach students the art of hair, skin and nail care. The Salon at Remington allows students to work with real clients.
