Remington College Campuses in Dallas and Fort Worth Offer New HVAC Program
Diploma program trains students for residential, commercial, and industrial HVAC jobs.
- Dallas, TX (1888PressRelease) June 19, 2013 - Remington College Dallas Campus and Remington College Fort Worth Campus are now enrolling students for a new Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Diploma Program.
The Remington College HVAC Diploma Program is designed to provide students with skills in the fundamentals and practice of the HVAC industry. Students have the opportunity to earn a diploma in as few as 12 months - however, program completion results may vary, based on each individual's performance and circumstances.
Students will have the opportunity to learn how to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and upgrade heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems through a combination of classroom and hands-on instruction.
The program covers the industry essentials, including:
• Introduction to HVAC and Refrigeration
• Fundamental HVAC Maintenance
• HVAC Automated Controls
• Motors and Motor Control
• Residential Systems
• Commercial HVAC Systems
• Commercial Refrigeration Systems
"This program is a fit for someone looking to get their start in the industry, change careers or just upgrade their skills," said Skip Walls, Remington College Dallas Campus President.
While a job in their chosen field is always the goal at Remington College, employment is not guaranteed for students or graduates.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, HVAC and Refrigeration installers and mechanics are expected to experience employment growth of 34% from 2010 to 2020; that's much faster than the national average.
