Remembering Our Lost Four-Legged Friends
Baue's "Paws to Remember" Ceremony Allows Families the Opportunity to Honor the Lives of their Lost Pets.
- St. Louis, MO-IL (1888PressRelease) April 14, 2012 - For many, pets are considered members of the family. When they pass away, the family feels the loss and experiences grief. Baue Pet Services, a division of Baue Funeral Homes, Crematory and Cemetery, created an annual event in 2011 focusing on honoring the lives of lost pets, allowing families an opportunity to come together and share their memories. This year, the second annual "Paws to Remember" ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 5th at 1:00 at Baue Pet Services, 4175 Shady Springs Lane in St. Peters.
All families who have lost a beloved pet are invited to attend the service, which will feature a presentation by Baue's Grief Services Manager, Kelly Karavousanos. Attendees are encouraged to provide a photograph of their lost pet, in advance via email, to be included in the memorial tribute which will be on display during the event. All family members, including pets, are welcome. Guests will receive a remembrance keepsake, and the service will conclude with a colorful balloon release. The event is free and open to the public.
"Our pets have become more a part of our lives than ever before, and when they cross the rainbow bridge, families need to care for themselves during their time of grief, and have outlets to celebrate their pets' lives," said Kelly Karavousanos, Grief Services Manager. "Baue is committed to helping families honor life - and that includes pets, who truly are important family members."
Attendees should RSVP, and send their pet tribute photos, to Kelly Kreitner at KellyKreitner ( @ ) Baue dot com or 636-875-5700 dot
