Remembering 9/11 Through A Survivor's Eyes In His Book On Journey From Survival To Recovery
In "Pentagon Prayer," Dan Holdridge shares his personal experience on 9/11/01 and how he survived our nation's worst tragedy while learning his purpose of life.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) September 12, 2010 - Today marks the 9th anniversary of the tragedy that united our nation and opened our eyes. "You don't have to live through a terrorist attack to learn from one," writes Dan Holdridge in the first major memoir written by a survivor of the events of 9/11 at the Pentagon. In this recollection of his heroic escape and road to healing, Dan challenges his readers to appreciate the life they are living right now, while appreciating the people around them for the contributions they made. His book defies the status quo by claiming that real success is found by living in humility while giving gratitude. He paints a remarkable picture of family, country, and appreciation while helping his readers find an answer to the most important question: "Why am I here?"

About Dan Holdridge:
On September 11th, 2001, Dan's life almost ended when he was injured in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon. Almost recovered physically, Dan is currently the CEO of his family business but also dedicates his time speaking to people across the country about his experience that day, what helped him heal and how he became an even stronger person than ever before. He has close ties to the USDA and the National 4-H Organization, as well as numerous universities and corporations. Although he still experiences many physical after-effects of the 9/11 attack, his approach to "appreciating" everyone around him has given him a new lease on life.
