- (1888PressRelease) October 12, 2011 - Reconnaissance RC drilling resumed on the East Zone of Rome's Don Luis Silver-Gold-Tungsten Greisen-Porphyry Property upon receiving the "interchange" part from Canada with release from Mexican Customs last Sunday. Several bulldozer trenches were completed on the West Zone of Don Luis. Colin Godwin, supported by Godwin Consultants Ltd.-not Rome, attended the CIM World Gold Conference in Montreal where a number of presentations relevant to Don Luis were given (left picture, or on website).
The more pertinent papers related to gravity separation (e.g., Newmont's world-wide operations recover almost 10% of their gold by gravity processing, and gold gravity recovery has evolved tremendously with the development of enhanced gravity separation technology that can operate at more than 60 times the natural gravitational force), and heap leaching (e.g., lead is an effective accelerator of gold lixiviation in cyanide solutions, and hydrometallurgical methods are increasingly applicable to complex mineralogical situations).

Pina Alvarez submitted an application to the governmental environment-access-permission granting SEMARNAT for trenching and drilling on the La Colorada-Esmeralda Property (right picture, or on website).
Next week drilling on the East Zone at Don Luis will continue. The bulldozer should complete infilling of all the trenches on the property. It then will be decommissioned. We expect also to obtain entry permission to our La Colorada-Esmeralda Project from the rancher-owner.
