Reggae Legend (Don Carlos) Releases First Project in 10 Years (Digitally).
(1888PressRelease) October 17, 2009 - LOS ANGELES – Liaison Music and Publishing announced today that they have released the first new project by reggae pioneer Don Carlos in the last ten years entitled “Don Carlos”. Initial release plans are for it to be distributed as a digital only release via Liaison Music domestic distributor E1 Entertainment. Don Carlos has released over 15 projects over his illustrious career. Additionally, he was the original lead singer for noted reggae group Black Uhuru. During is time as Black Uhuru’s front man the group recorded four albums on the Mesa/Bluemoon label during the late eighties and early nineties.
Since that time Don Carlos has recorded numerous solo projects for RAS records and a number and a few other labels. This new record will be physically available at all Don Carlos concerts. Tour details are currently being worked out for the first quarter of next year, and will be announced shortly.
